DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THE WRONG WAY AROUND?

I START WITH WHY WHEN EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS TO THINK WHAT IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS?

Watching Simon Sinek in his famous speech on apple was not the game-changer it obviously was to my colleagues or to those I since shared the video with to explain a certain way of thinking.

It’s a distinct disadvantage in the world to start with Why by default, that is until you land on the right reason and purposes for doing something.

Cars, Houses and Private planes are not my “why.” Wealth for me is important but I don’t want it “just because,” the what of having an extra XXX in the bank over and above survival just isn’t where it is at.

A mentor rightly chastised me for asking why in the wrong context. I now no longer ask why. I have found my purpose.

It’s time to become “the change I want to see in the world.” To bring together economic leaders in their fields and disrupt the very essence of what wealth means to the world. Continuing the great work that Gates and others have pioneered let’s start to bring together those with an appetite to make a real difference through successful “for-benefit” companies that make real money. A very different “why” to giving to enjoy the tax breaks!
